Competitive grant fund of more than $51 million for 2026 supporting the purchase, construction, or rehabilitation of affordable rental and owner-occupied housing in Illinois and Wisconsin. Nonprofits apply jointly with an FHLBank Chicago member financial institution. Maximum subsidy is $2 million per project or 75% of total project cost, whichever is less.

Nonprofit housing developers, public housing authorities, and tribal governments in Illinois and Wisconsin partnering with an FHLBank Chicago member institution.
