FY 2026 has $8 million available; funds flow through state TEFAP agencies in partnership with eligible emergency feeding organizations. Nonprofits do not apply to FNS directly — the path is through the state TEFAP agency's plan amendment.
Eligibility
Emergency feeding organizations (food banks, food pantries, soup kitchens) partnering with state TEFAP agencies; must be a recognized TEFAP eligible recipient agency.
