Awards up to $112 million to community-based organizations for non-clinical, innovative suicide prevention services targeting Veterans not yet connected to VA care, especially in under-resourced or high-risk communities. Individual grants are up to $750,000 and are renewable annually. The program has awarded $210 million to 111 organizations across 46 states, territories, and tribal lands since launching in September 2022.

Eligibility

Nonprofit organizations, incorporated private foundations, state/local governments, Indian tribes, and other community-based organizations with demonstrated capacity to serve Veterans.
