Grant description
DOL/ETA and regional economic development commissions (ARC, Delta, Northern Border) jointly fund workforce development organizations in eligible rural regions to serve dislocated workers, underemployed workers, and individuals facing barriers to employment in high-growth industries. Veterans are a priority population. Applications are open with a deadline of July 23, 2026; awards in prior rounds have reached up to $2.5 million.
